Assay Methodology
Our process begins with ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectroscopy), a laboratory technique that measures the concentration of metals in a dissolved sample.
Technical Process Steps
- 1. Sample Prep:Homogenized catalyst powder is dissolved in laboratory-grade acid.
- 2. Ionization:The dissolved sample is introduced into an inductively coupled argon plasma.
- 3. Spectral Scan:Optical emission lines for Pt, Pd, and Rh are scanned and measured.
- 4. Quantification:Concentrations are calculated against calibrated reference standards.
